AFCON 2021: The Super Eagles Defeat The Pharoahs

Tuesday brought with it the excitement of football with the AFCON 2021 ongoing in Cameroon.

The Group D matches were played today, starting with the game between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and The Pharoahs of Egypt.

The Super Eagles which has won the African Cup of Nations 3 times overwhelmed the 7 time AFCON winners, The Pharoahs. Kelechi Iheanacho brought it home for The Eagles with a goal at the 30th minute.

The game ended with no more goals scored by either side but chances missed. The Super Eagles currently leads the Table with 3 points in their Group.

Other Group D matches played today was between Sudan and Guinea Bissau. No goals were scored by either team, ending the game at a draw and both teams sharing a point.
