Ikoyi: 21 Storeys Building Collapses

A 21-storey building under construction has collapsed on Gerrard Road, Ikoyi.

 Scores are said to be trapped in the rubble building located just after the Onikoyi Road junction.

The building which according to unverified reports was originally designed to be a 17 storeys.

A letter which has been circulated online indicates that the integrity of the building was in question as early as February 2020 when the Engineering company previously handling the project pulled out of the project.
